Guerrero, Gustavo. El Paso. Painter, teacher, merchant.
In 1928 Guerrero attended the Cyril Kay-Scott School of Painting, El Paso, on a scholarship supplied by an anonymous donor. He instructed Spanish-speaking students in 1929 in the successor institution, the El Paso Art Academy. In 1940 he was employed by a dry-goods merchant.
