Biography
Emery A. Filleau1855-1935
Landscape Painter, teacher. Filleau was born in New York City. He studied there as a youth and taught afterward in Kansas City, Missouri. He moved to Houston where he taught and painted before 1900; he maintained a gallery beginning in 1929. Filleau died in a Houston hospital and was buried in the city.
Exhibitions: Annual Houston Artists Exhibition (1926, 1930).
