    Edward Dawson-Watson (1893-1978)

    San Antonio , Landscape, animal, figure, and genre painter, muralist, commercial artist. Edward Dawson-Watson, the son of Dawson Dawson-Watson, was born in Hartford, Connecticut, and followed his father to San Antonio about 1926. Died in San Antonio. His pictures are bold, interesting in design, full of action-wiry, active cow-ponies and bucking broncos=frontier themes-days of the West; also the Mexican and picturesque scenes with foreign, romantic atmosphere near his home in San Antonio.
