Victoria, Harlingen, Nacogdoches, Fredericksburg, Carrollton, Painter. Nabinger was born in Commerce and reared in Victoria. There she was a student of James Ferdinand McCan for seven years before attending the Art Students League of New York for two years. Afterward she studied in San Antonio with Jose Arpa, Harry Anthony De Young, and others. In 1955 she studied for a summer at the Academie Julian, Paris, Nabinger was a resident of Nacogdoches in the 1950S and had a summer cottage on Lone Star Lake near Daingerfield, where she often painted. She move about 1962 to Fredericksburg and afterward to Carrollton. She died in Carrollton and was buried in Lewisville. her daughter, Virginia Nabinger Muller, was also an artist.
