    Woodrow Foster (1912-2014)

Artist Woodrow Foster was born in 1912. As Woodrow's daughter Sara stated in her father's 100th birthday celebration book: "For those of you who have one of his paintings, just know that it was not done in haste, but with a loving brush and with great imagination and a talent for details." From recognizing his artistic talents at the early age of four to his retirement in his mid-nineties, from developing his artistic abilities to creating original artwork for clients, Woodrow Foster has always loved his profession. Over the years, Woodrow's art profession has allowed him to provide a living for his family, to receive the Texas State Artist honor in 1991, to participate in countless art exhibitions and demonstrations, and to share his knowledge and love of art with his students. Woodrow Foster passed away in 2014.
