    Celia Claudine Jamison (born 1920)

    Denton, Houston, Painter, Teacher.
    Born in Prosper, Jamison graduated from Texas State College for Women, Denton, with a bachelor of science (1941) and the University of Iowa, Iowa City, with master of arts (1944).  She returned to the former institution of teach (1945-1950).  Her instructors included Philip Guston at the University of Iowa.
